Had a great gig at Roots coffeehouse in North Richland Hills last night!!
This coffeeshop is fantastic: great atmosphere, great sound AND the whole place smells like brownies…yumyum! Add on top of that, my freshman high school biology teacher and mentor Mr. Bozeman and his lovely wife showed up (I haven’t seen him in like 6 or 7 years!) and it was so cool to visit with him for awhile. I also had a friend from Southwestern University show up (Mr. Bob Mathis) who just so happened to be in the area and stuck around for the show after seeing my poster on the wall (yay for posters working!!) I also debuted a new cover song last night, going vintage nineties with “I Swear” The crowd seemed to enjoy it so I think I’ll keep it in the set line-up. If you missed the Roots show don’t worry, I’ll be playing at Milano Espresso this coming THURSDAY from 7-9PM!
