Wild Beautiful Dangerous

I conceived of the idea for WILD BEAUTIFUL DANGEROUS at Irving Bible Church, listening to a sermon by Pastor Barry Jones. In his message, he had asked something to the effect of “what are you going to do with your beautiful, dangerous and wild life?” I was intrigued by this collection of words (wild, beautiful, dangerous.)

To me, they were a compelling trifecta that could represent our God and his Word. Wild, beautiful, dangerous. Father, Son and Holy Spirit. The story of the Old Testament, the Gospels, and the rest of the New Testament.

The album will take you through some of the story of scripture, from Genesis to Revelation. The only song not on an EP is “Like a Dove.” (cowritten by and featuring Gretyl Baird.) This song is about the manifestation of our triune God – Father, Son and Holy Spirit – all present together at the baptism of Jesus.
